Tiempo para Dios en el Año Nuevo
Escuché hace poco tiempo un podcast (Daily Thunder de Ellerslie, precisamente) sobre las resoluciones del año nuevo. Tanta gente cristiana intenta mejorar su diario caminar con Jesús por esfuerzo aumentado. Solo hay que levantarme más temprano, reservarme unos quince minutos más para leer u orar, manejarme el tiempo con más organización. Solo hay que hacer mejor, planear mejor, llevar a cabo mis planes mejor. Pero el predicador del podcast (P. Hartman) tenía otra idea. Dijo, no es problema de cómo manejas tu tiempo. Es un problema de tener amor en tu corazón de algo más que Dios. Todos tenemos tiempo para lo que más nos importa. Si tú no tienes tiempo para Dios, es por qué Dios no te importa. Ay, te dolió? A mí también. Pero es un dolor que sana, pues el pecado (y no tener a Dios como el más importante en tu vida si es pecado), el pecado sí se puede perdonar y limpiar. Dios no perdona las "equivocaciones" ni los horarios llenos. Saber que debo darle a Dios "algo más" con solo la intención de "meterlo" en mi vida en el espacio sobrante que no existe... Es una receta para no producir resultados. Sin embargo si reconozco que estoy escogiendo alguna cosa o actividad o persona antes de Él, es un cambio concreto que puedo hacer con su ayuda, por amor de Él. ¿Qué piensas tú? ¿Crees que estar demasiado ocupado es pecado?

It all depends on what matters us the most that who has first place in our life. Keeping ourself too busy at the cost of not giving Him time is a sin. In Matthew 6:33 Jesus is expecting us to set our priorities. Well I love getting connected with the people of God aorund the globe to be encouraged strengthened and praying for one aother. I have been in the Pastoral ministry forl last 40 yrs inthis great city of Mumbai a city with a geat contrast where richest of rich and the poorest of poor live. We reach out to the poorest of poor with the love of Christ to bring healing to the brokenhearted.
